Florida co-production relationship enables MARTAC to bolster production of its flagship Devil Ray™ platform by 100 vessels per year

MELBOURNE, FL, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Maritime Tactical Systems, Inc. (MARTAC), a leading U.S. provider of fully autonomous unmanned surface vessels (USVs), today announced a manufacturing partnership with fellow Florida-based boatbuilder SŌLACE Boats. The partnership enables MARTAC to scale production of its Devil Ray™ USV platforms by 100 vessels per year, meeting increasing demand signals from U.S. and allied-nation governments as well as supporting national security operations.

Built on nearly forty years of multi-industry boatbuilding experience, SŌLACE Boats has an established reputation for designing and building high-performance and high-strength boats. Operating from a 200,000-square-foot production facility, the company has well-proven vacuum infusion and catamaran-hull manufacturing capabilities. SŌLACE’s expertise complements the methods used in MARTAC’s Devil Ray and MANTAS™ USV platforms.

“We’re proud to partner with SŌLACE, given their reputation, in-depth experience and prowess in producing high-strength, lightweight hulls that can traverse high sea-states,” said Tony Smeraglinolo, Chief Executive Officer of MARTAC. “Our partnership with SŌLACE demonstrates MARTAC’s ability to rapidly scale by harnessing the talent and capacity of world-class marine manufacturers in our region.”

“SŌLACE Boats is excited to be partnering with MARTAC, a company whose platforms have over a decade of operational excellence in government programs and exercises,” said Stephen Dougherty, Chief Executive Officer of SŌLACE Boats. “ We are honored to leverage our expertise to support national security initiatives along with the greater maritime security mission.”

On the heels of MARTAC’s recent co-production agreement with Mystic Powerboats, this announcement is part of MARTAC’s ongoing domestic scaling strategy, harnessing American-built technologies and companies to exponentially increase production of mission-ready autonomous vehicles. By leveraging regional manufacturers with dual-use experience, MARTAC is scaling production capacity of its USVs, while mitigating lead time and capital constraints.
