Lenders can now access EDGE consumer reports, cashflow scores, and risk attributes directly within LendAPI’s decisioning and servicing workflows
CHICAGO, IL, UNITED STATES, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — EDGE, the cashflow bureau that aggregates bank account and transaction data and turns it into explainable, machine-learning-derived scores and attributes for lending and rental screening, today announced a partnership with LendAPI, a loan origination and loan management platform used by credit unions, community banks, and consumer and embedded finance lenders to configure products, automate decisioning, originate loans, and manage portfolios from a connected lending environment.
EDGE is the first and only end-to-end cashflow bureau, spanning marketing, underwriting, funding and loan servicing. Its latest innovation is an expanded suite of scores: the Account Health Score, which gives lenders a current view of a borrower’s financial health for ongoing account and portfolio decisions; the Liquidity Stability Score, which evaluates near-term repayment capacity for products like cash advance and earned wage access; and the Early Payment Default (EPD) Score, which assesses early-default risk for installment and other longer-term credit. All three are built on EDGE’s growing data lake of bank transaction and loan performance data from its network of participating lenders.
Under the partnership, EDGE cashflow bureau intelligence is available to LendAPI customers as of July 7, 2026, with EDGE consumer reports, cashflow-derived scores, and risk attributes accessible inside LendAPI’s Rules Studio and Model Studio, and available to inform post-origination servicing through Embarc, LendAPI’s loan management system. The partnership also makes EdgeConnect, EDGE’s bank aggregation solution, available through the LendAPI platform, giving lenders a single connected path from account data to cashflow bureau intelligence inside one lending environment.
EDGE operates as a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and issues consumer reports derived from cashflow data. As a cashflow bureau, EDGE provides lenders with cashflow intelligence in regulated credit workflows, turning bank transaction data into consumer reports, scores, and attributes that lenders can apply inside their credit workflows.
LendAPI sits in the operating layer where lenders configure products, evaluate applications, connect data providers, automate workflows, and manage loans after origination. EDGE joins nearly 300 data and infrastructure providers available through the LendAPI partner catalog. By making EDGE available through its platform, LendAPI helps lenders move cashflow intelligence from standalone analysis into the workflows where credit decisions are made and managed. An early application is thin-file income and ability-to-pay assessment on unsecured personal installment products, where lenders can build and test a cashflow-informed policy in a sandbox environment before promoting it to production.
“EDGE was built to help lenders act on cashflow data, not just access it,” said Brian Reshefsky, founder and CEO of EDGE. “Our partnership with LendAPI gives lenders a direct path to use EDGE consumer reports, scores, and attributes inside the systems where lending teams already work. That is how cashflow intelligence moves from standalone analysis to improved decision-making across the lending lifecycle.”
“Our customers do not want another data contract to administer. They want cashflow attributes they can drop into a decision tree and start testing,” said Timothy Li, co-Founder and CEO of LendAPI. “EDGE scores and attributes are now configurable in Model Studio and Rules Studio, so a lender can stand up a cashflow-informed credit policy in an afternoon, validate it against their own portfolio, and carry those insights through to servicing in Embarc.”
